Review: Fort Worth – Signals (Single)

After releasing 3 EP’s (State of Emergency, Runaway & What Doesn’t Speak, Can’t Scream) since their creation back in 2009 Manchester based Post-Hardcore outfit Fort Worth are back with their brand new single “Signals”.

You are immediately smacked in the face by the ferocity of the song from the first chord and harsh vocals. There is no let up in the ferocity of the song throughout the entirety of it. The band is influenced by the likes of A Day To Remember and Alexisonfire among others which is evident in “Signals”. There is a  great mix between harsh and clean vocals that compliment each other and don’t sound clumsy or forced which is a problem some other bands have in this sort of music.

Signals is available for free download from Fort Worth bandcamp page – http://fortworthuk.bandcamp.com/

Fort Worth also have an absolutely superb cover of Backstreet Boys hit “Tell me Why” which is also available for free download from Fort Worth bandcamp
