Resident Evil Re:Verse Expected This Summer After A Delay

According to an email sent to Resident Evil ambassadors, fans will have to wait a little longer before getting their hands on Resident Evil Re:Verse. The franchise is currently one of the most popular multiplayer shooter video games on the planet. Its popularity has influenced movies such as Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

Furthermore, the franchise is behind Resident Evil Infinite Darkness: The Graphic Novel, a comic book about to be released. The iGaming industry also joined the movement, explaining the existence of Skywind’s Resident Evil 6 slot machine. The game can be accessed on popular casinos like 888 Casino, and as per the 888 Casino review, is one of the biggest names in iGaming.

So far, the reason behind the delay of the most awaited video game is yet to be communicated. However, it may be an obvious one. Initially, the Resident Evil Village spin-off was supposed to be released within the first half of 2021 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the franchise.

However, that did not happen. Instead, the only game Capcom gave was Resident Evil Village without the Spin-off. What followed is the Resident Evil Re:Verse delay email which was sent to the ambassadors.

Fans who have been eagerly waiting for the game and following the news can concur that according to the beta tests, Resident Evil Re:Verse must have had significant errors that must get fixed before its final release.

That is because the first beta test got shut down soon after its launch. The following two beta tests also did not prove successful due to a couple of errors and lack of excitement in the game. Since Capcom is known to produce top-quality games with no errors, they must have been forced to embark on game development, thus pushing the release date.

On the other hand, the release of Resident Evil Village was a huge success, according to the game development company. That is because, after its launch, Resident Evil Village shipped more than 3 million copies globally. That made Resident Evil Village one of the fastest-selling Resident Evil series. Furthermore, in Japan, the gaming charts showed that the Resident Evil Village PlayStation 4 version was first in sales.

With such impressive numbers, Capcom seems to be very cautious in the spin-off. After all, a minute error can lead to massive criticism from fans. Currently, no one knows the exact release date of the much-awaited Resident Evil Re:Verse. Even its official website only indicates a slight delay. However, despite the postponement, there is a chance Capcom will keep its word and provide players who purchase Resident Evil Village with a free copy of Resident Evil Re:Verse.

In the meantime, fans are left to enjoy Resident Evil Village as they wait for the spin-off to launch in the summer of 2021. However, if there is a possibility the delay will lead to a perfect ending, it is worth the wait. That is because Capcom is up against visually stunning action-packed games like Destiny 2 PC Version. After all, no one wants to experience a resident evil that will fade off after a short while.
