The Night VI, ADA and Jack Garratt

Hoxton Bar and Kitchen, 12th November 2013

After the release of their debut EP, Still Thinking of You, The Night VI continue to impress with their beautiful and glamorous show with tonight being no exception at Hoxton Bar and Grill. The band were signed to Parlophone Records this year and have seen a flurry of interest since.

The Night VI opened with “Thinking of You”, a personal favourite from the band that can only be described as spellbinding from the unreal vocals of Sophie-Rose.

“Sienna” (also off their recent EP) performed live is an unique experience. Extra flicks and riffs, which weren’t present in the studio version brought the track alive on stage leaving the audience in awe.

With a band of six it’s often very difficult for each member to demonstrate individual talents but The Night VI demonstrate that this isn’t a problem. Track after track their dynamic and polished stage presents reels the audience in further giving a truly magical experience.

Main support came from London 4 piece, ADA who proved to really get the night started. Made up of Isabel a mesmerising female front women and Henry on bass, Nick on drums and Tomoya who out of nowhere wow’s the crowd with an immense saxophone solo enlightened the crowd with their latest SoundCloud released song ‘Barefoot’. Exciting things are coming from these guys and it will be amazing to see where they are in a year or two.

Jack Garratt opened the night with an electrifying performance from his interesting one-man band set up.

Over all an impressive display of up and coming talent that we are sure to hear more of in 2014!
