Single Review: Alexander- Find My Way Out

Following the outstanding reception to their début LP ‘Say Hello’, UK Alt-Pop four-piece, Alexander released their second single from ‘Say Hello’, entitled ‘Find My Way Out’…

Releasing the single alongside National Bullying Week in the UK, Alexander will be giving all proceeds from the release to ‘BeatBullying’ charity.

The track, introduced on a steady guitar riff, has elements of an Indie sound etching in and out of the predominantly Alternative/Pop basis. Reliably upbeat for the most part, the track graces a catchy, chanting pre-chorus filled with “I’ve gotta get out of this storm” on repeat.

Approaching the final part of the song, electric guitars break into an abundance of riffs and shreds across the board, reaching the final climactic point of the track. Stamped by a sudden ending, ‘Find My Way Out’ is a wonderful taster for those who may not have heard the full length album from these guys.

Let’s face it, it’s really no surprise these guys were featured on Coldplay’s website as well as gaining exposure on a selection of TV shows such as Hollyoaks. They might think 2013 has been their year, but just wait for 2014 guys- we predict big things!
