Held in the heart of Amsterdam, Pitch festival has announced a new wave of artists. Taking place on 5-6 July, the contemporary music festival mixes live bands and DJ sets alongside stimulating visuals into an eclectic festival experience.
2013 will be the festivals 3rd edition – the inaugurial event in 2011 saw 8500 visitors to the site and in 2012, Pitch grew in size to 15,000 – both sold out and past line-ups have included the likes of The Weeknd, Die Antwoord, SBTRKT, Gold Panda, Jessie Ware, Maya Jane Coles, Gaslamp Killer, Modeselektor, Jackmaster and many more.
New additions to Pitch festival 2013 include: Dizzee Rascal // Rustie // Fat Freddy’s Drop // Darkstar // Julio Bashmore // Cyril Hahn // Tunng // Hudson Mohawke // CHVRCHES // Flume // Shangaan Electro // Bondax // Objekt // Malatu Astatke // Palmbomen // Happa // Roosevelt.
The newly announced artists join a bill that already includes the likes of James Blake (live), Disclosure (live), Django Django, Azealia Banks, Alunageorge and more, with many more still to be announced.
