Recent speculation has culminated in a leak from the GAME website, listing the finale to Rocksteady’s Akrham series: Batman: Arkham Knight.
Update: Warner Bro’s have now released a cinematic trailer for the game that you can check out below.
If you’re a fan of the Arkham series, you’re probably either super hyped by this announcement or letting out a groan of ‘aw, another one?’ Of course Batman: Akrham Origins came out only last October and it was commonly received as the weakest of the series. But this was evidently due to the fact that Origins was developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal and not Rocksteady. The reason for this – they’ve been hard at work all this time on Batman: Arkham Knight. Can i get a ‘hell yeah!’?
The game is also notably described as ‘the explosive finale.’ More details include some of the enemies you’ll be battling; Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn. Oh and did i mention you’ll be able to drive the batmobile freely around the streets of Gotham city? Well, you can. No news yet on the platforms Arkham Knight will be available on (other than PS4) but here’s to hoping it isn’t a next-gen exclusive.
The release date is to be confirmed, 2014, but expect to see much more information at this year’s E3.
