In The Flesh returns for a second season

The superb horror/drama In The Flesh returns to our screens for a second season this Sunday.

The show, created by Dominic Mitchell is set in the fictional village of Roarton and is based around Partially deceased syndrome (PDS) suffer Kieren Walker. Kieren is a rehabilitated “rotter” who after “the rising” of everyone who died during 2009 is captured, heavily medicated  and reintegrated into society to see his family and friends who presumed him dead. Many PDS suffers are haunted by memories of the atrocities that they committed while rabid. Many PDS suffers face prejudice due to the scarred memories of those who survived the rising.

Season 2 of In The Flesh will contain 6 one hour episodes which look set to touch of the issues raised in season 1.

If you are unfamiliar with In The Flesh do not think this is just another zombie show. It is far from that. In The Flesh looks at prejudice and how people blindly follow someones ill informed views (something we can probably all get on board with these days), suicide and people being troubled by their past.

If you a fan of zombies and looking for something completely new and unique to the genre make sure you catch In The Flesh.
