From the delicate, twinkling melodies and soaring emotive power of Cat Marriot’s vocals in the opening title track, to the more abstract fusion of musical layers and glitchy beats on ‘Keep My Promises’, each track oozes its own unique majesty.
Continuing with a sweeping, emotion-strewn grace, ‘Let Go’ is a stirring, heartfelt ballad, once again showcasing the subtle power of the mesmerising interplay of Cat and brother Robin’s vocals together. EP closer, ‘Owing You’, on the other hand, is brother Robin’s moment to shine; his deep, spoken-word tales of love and loss set to a backdrop of rich, cinematic instrumentation will enthral the ears on first listen.
