Frankly on the down slope for a few years now, Oxegen has diminished from a rock festival to a bit of a leftovers festival, in that they take the acts the likes of Indiependence and Electric Picnic didn’t grab first.

Having been staged in 2012, the festival ran again last year, delivering a line-up emphasising dance acts such as David Guetta and Snoop Dogg.
