Jack White Makes History On Record Store Day

White Stripes frontman and acclaimed musician, Jack White made history yesterday with the fastest released record at his Third Man studio, Tennessee for Record Store Day…

April 19th at 10am, White took to the Blue Room in the studio to record a direct-to-acetate single.

The masters were rushed straight to Nashville where they were pressed and later sent back to the Third Man where fans were waiting.

Whilst playing a gig, the announcement was made which stated that “the records have left the building!“.

As the gig finished, Jack rushed to the United Record Pressing to oversee the process.

Hats off to you, Sir!
