Announcement: Boston to release new album ‘Live, Love & Hope’

Yes, rock and roll disciples everywhere, your eyes have not mistaken you, the rock-gods that bought us the sweet, sensual sound of hit ballads ‘More Than A Feeling’ and ‘Peace Of Mind,’ are steaming back with a brand new album to be released December 9th, 2013.

Can’t you just feel it now, hard-hitting rock worshipers everywhere oozing on the edges of their seats to hear what soul shattering licks and riffs guitarist Tom Scholz has lined up for them. The personnel of the record proclaims vocals exuded from the late Brad Delp, former lead singer of the band, which can only imply that the band had been anticipating this new release for a while, storing a way hiding treasure recorded by the tenor totem, only to tease fans with in years to come. Other vocals on the record include appearances from Tommy DeCarlo, Kimberley Dahme, David Victor, and songwriter/guitarist Scholz himself.

On the release of the album, Scholz stated: “These are songs from the heart, each of them taking many months of effort to write, arrange, perform and record, always up to the demands of BOSTON’s harshest critic. Me. The songs have been meticulously recorded to analogue tape on the same machines and equipment used for BOSTON’s hits for the past 35 years.”

So, to all those falling weak at the knees at the though of the 70’s most electrifying guitar band adorning the current music scene with some real kick-ass hits, or those who have spent their summer scowling their radio for some real mind-exploding rock and roll to save them from the tedious, mind-numbing shit they play in high-street retailers and mundane discotheques in over-crowded humdrum towns, prepare yourself for the first weeks of December to  stay on the hunt for ‘Live, Love & Hope‘.

Record now available for preorder.
