How do you amuse yourself when the indecisive mood sets in?

So you’ve just finished a new favourite TV series, or perhaps it’s the strange mourning feeling you experience after finishing a particularly good book and you’re reluctant to dive into anything else, what do you do?

Here are our ideas for side-track entertainment.

  1. Podcasts:

Whether you’re on the move, in the kitchen or just lazing around a podcast can be an excellent accompaniment. There are so many on a huge variety of topics to name but a few; Nerdist provides excellent free flowing interviews with a variety of people always funny and the long format gives you way more than a chat show format, Mark Kermode And Simon Mayo’s Film Reviews up to the minute film reviews balanced by each other’s opinions and the repartee between the two is a great draw. And a personal recommendation is Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast, Bill Burr is an exceptional comedian and every Monday he uploads a free podcast (As well as checking in on Thursdays) he chooses topics from the news and his own personal interests with digressions all over the shop. It startles me how he can be so funny throughout in every single upload; I implore you to check him out.

  1. YouTube Channels

Instead of delving back into an entire TV series run, YouTube channels are the ultimate in “dip in” viewing providing entertainment without obligation. Whether you’re after a broad interest YouTube personality such as Zoella, or informative and humorously hosted car modification from Mighty Car Mods, or perhaps your interests lie in comic book illustration VZA [Visual Zen Advocate] there are hundreds to choose from with countless hours of content.
