Calling Festival, a new version of Hard Rock Calling, is taking place this year in South London and now boasts Stevie Wonder as one of its headliners.
The R&B/Soul legend has hinted previously that he will release two new albums in 2014 and Live Nation’s Vice President of Promotions, Toby Leighton-Pope commented on the man’s headline appearance: “We’re thrilled to welcome Stevie Wonder to Calling Festival. His music is timeless and this show will be one of the highlights of the summer! Richie Sambora joins the Saturday bill which is looking fantastic, it’s going to be an unforgettable event.”
20 more acts are set to be released over the coming months for the festival that’s taking place on June 28th and June 29th with tickets going on sale this Friday (11th April) for the Sunday. Tickets for the Saturday, headlined by Aerosmith are on sale now and are priced at £62.50.
