Self taught rock and roll is the best type of rock, and indie 4-piece Stillia are one young band who could build up hype and rise to the top as quick as The Strypes.
The band was originally an acoustic trio when formed back in 2011, but numerous band changes have now seen the band settle as a four-piece with the 3 original members joined by lead guitarist Connor Moran; after gigging in their local area, the band have branched out in recent months, playing gigs in Dundee, Manchester, London and of course, nearest city Liverpool.
With the band all influenced by similar artists from The Beatles to Oasis, the four youngsters are motivated and hungry for success and have already signed to Animal Farm Music in London as the band get set to release more music and head out on a UK tour this year, especially after the enormous feeling of playing at Langtree Park in front of a home crowd before the St Helens recent rugby match against Leeds Rhinos.
Built on edgy riffs, timeless lyrics and upbeat melodies, front man Jack was crafted and influenced mainly by John Lennon, with that coming across massively in the band as they carry on creating the music they are. A band that write so cleverly and creatively, once you’ve heard this band for the first time, you wont turn them off.
