The former Zoo Kid has also shared the trailer for the project.
Archy Marshall, better known as King Krule, has revealed that he is to release a book and documentary film as part of a new collaborative art project with his brother. A New Place 2 Drown is a 208-page feature art book that details the lives of Archy and his brother Jack’s creative ventures in South London. The documentary — which is directed by Will Robson-Scott — will be accompanied by a fresh 12-song soundtrack, via True Panther/XL Recordings. Take look at the project’s official webpage for further details, and to see snapshots of the book in a loop.
His soulful and raw mix of rockabilly rhythms and hip-hop melodies have made King Krule something of a cult hero since the release of his debut EP U.F.O.W.A.V.E as Zoo Kid in 2010. King Krule last released an album in 2013, with the jazzily sombre 6 Feet Beneath The Moon.
