Following Imagine Dragons’ release of their chart topping debut album ‘Night Visions’ and UK tour last month, the band have today announced another full UK headline tour in November. This tour will see the band playing their biggest shows to date.
Featuring Radio 1 playlisted single ‘Radioactive’, as well as forthcoming single ‘It’s Time’ (which has sold a staggering 1,500,000 copies in the U.S.), the band achieved the best first week sales for a full-length debut album by a new rock band in over six years in the US.
Hailing from Las Vegas, the four piece; Dan Reynolds (Vox), Ben McKee (Bass), Wayne Sermon (Lead Guitar) and Daniel Platzman (Drums), have had an astonishing rise to prominence in the last 12 months. With first week sales in the US of 83,213, thirty million plus views collectively on their YouTube videos and their tracks appearing in worldwide advertising campaigns for Assassins Creed III and Xbox, 2013 is set to be the year when Imagine Dragons become the global phenomenon their US story suggests.
Working with Grammy award winning producer Alex Da Kid (Eminem, Rihanna, U2, Dr. Dre, Nicki Minaj), ‘Night Visions’ combines arms-in-the-air rock choruses with hip-hop sensibilities, a winning formula that translates into an electrifying live show.
Returning to the UK in November for a string of headline shows including a date at the Forum, the band are also set to embark on their biggest US tour to date, playing packed out shows to a growing and fervent fan base.
