Stop the presses: The XX have announced that they will be playing some live shows in 2017, their first in three years.
A show at New York’s Guggenheim Museum in 2014 was their last live performance, but the London band have unveiled that they will play at three Lollapalooza festivals in South America next spring. So, if you’re from Brazil, Argentina or Chile, you’re in luck. If you stranded in the UK, like me, then not so much.
Although nothing has been announced yet, the band are expected to release their long-awaited follow-up to second album Coexist this year.
