This trait is undeniably found at the very centre of JP Cooper‘s rich, indie-folk sound.
The dreadlocked Mancunian’s inescapable charm and songwriting breadth is one of the reasons why Original Penguin wanted him to feature on their #PluggedIn60 series. Taking time out of his busy, sell-out schedule, Original Penguin caught up Cooper to talk about the influence of 1990s Brit-pop, fashion and Manchester bands like Oasis, whereby he opens up about the decade that made him “fall in love with music.” You can watch the video here:
