Move over Frank Ocean…
While the World has been busy watching Frank Ocean’s Apple Music-hosted website stream, Warpaint have announced that they will release a new album later this year. Heads Up will drop on September 23rd through Rough Trade Records, and will be the LA band’s first record since their 2014 self-titled release.
Once again hooking up with producer Jacob Bercovici, who helped craft their 2008 Exquisite Corpse EP, Warpaint have also today shared new track ‘New Song’. Perfectly designed for summer time radio plays, ‘New Song’ is a poppy deluge of funky bass lines and powerful harmonies. Listen below.
