Single Review: 11 ‘Best of Me’

South London duo 11 (James Lamb and Richard Craker) have recently released their latest single ‘Best of Me’. It’s an electryfying indie-pop gem that will have you tapping your feet in no time.

Focused on rather difficult themes of insecurities, the single keeps things light musically by filling the soundscapes with with funk-fuelled hooks and catchy melodies. They fuse together a range of sounds and impeccable production skills to create something truly unique and undeniably addictive. James Lamb’s luscious vocals and the thrilling guitar riffs help create a delightful tune. The hushed bridge followed by the contagious chorus make this track even more interesting.

Talking about the track, Lamb explains: “It’s about not allowing negative energy to take you off your path. It’s about mind-state, the internal battles that we all have… It’s a fight between success and failure, where success is landing all the punches.”
