Not To Be Missed At Glastonbury: SUNDAY

With Glastonbury festival less than a week away some of the biggest acts in the music world will adorn the famed stages across the festival. The lucky few (thousand) who managed to scramble to get a ticket will be in for a treat with one of the best Glasto line-ups yet!

Below we’ve compiled a list of acts hosting the Sunday that you just have to see!

Kasabian- Pyramid Stage 21:45- 23:15

Watch the weekend draw to a close with one of the nation’s biggest rock bands tear the Pyramid a new one. Fresh from releasing their brilliant new album 48:13 the lads from Leicester intend to rock Worthy Farm to the core with their crowd friendly and festival thumping tunes.  Put your fists in the air and get a pint in the other and be prepared for an epic finisher.

Sam Smith- Other Stage 16:00-16:50

One of the best new voices of the year, sounds like a male Adele, a LADele if you may. Despite being on the Other Stage in front 30,000+ people he’ll make you feel like you’re the only one in the field with his angelic voice and gripping presence. Head down for a treat of a set full of tracks from his debut album “In The Lonely Hour.

Disclosure- West Holts Stage 22:00-23:15

The most talked about British dance music duo of the past few years. Get in the crowd and throw the shapes to the Lawrence Brothers on their synths and laptops in closing West Holts. Be ready for lasers, smoke and dancefloor bangers  like “White Noise”, “You & Me” and “F For You”.

Marmozets- BBC Introducing 20:15- 20:40

Closing the iconic Glasto BBC Introducing stage are the most hardcore thing to come out of Bingley since Five Rise Locks in the canal in 1774. A rare thing in hardcore music is a female frontman and Marmozets thrive in the presence of Becca Macintyre at the helm to become of the most anticipated new hard rock bands. Ready your throats because there is gonna be a lot of screamo…

Dolly Parton- Pyramid Stage 16:20- 17:30

Pity she isn’t on from 9-5, it would be a lot more fitting but I doubt the country music veteran can do an 8 hour show at 68.  The Western legend hits her debut on the iconic Pyramid stage ready to turn the crowd into country music bonanza. Get your cowboy boots and tassled jackets on and get ready for her classics like “9 to 5”, “Jolene” and “Islands In The Stream”. Only at Glastonbury can Dolly Parton be the support act for Ed Sheeran.
