Radiohead share ‘Burn The Witch’

The band’s new video has a touch of 1960s children’s television about it.

It’s the news the world has been waiting for. Today (3rd May), Radiohead shared a new song and video, ‘Burn The Witch’. Anchored by a gush of strings and surge of synths, the track is accompanied by a stop motion-style video that see’s Trumpton meet  Robin Hardy’s 1973 cult film The Wickerman. It’s a fascinating song that underscores guitarist Johnny Greenwood’s passion for big, orchestral sounds.

The unveiling of the band’s new song has come in good time, with a swell of rumours circulating that Radiohead are set to release their long awaited “LP9″ any day now. Yesterday, the Oxford band removed all trace of themselves from the internet; all of their social media accounts were wiped clean.

At long last, the kings of dystopia are back.
