Due to an early posting on Canada’s Best Buy website, Nintendo is set to launch a brand new Wii console, the Wii Mini. The new console is just a smaller, more stylish looking version of the old console, so do not expect any major changes.
This pretty much the Wii’s version of the PSOne, or smaller Playstation 2 redesign. I expect these to be a small hit over the holidays as parents buy the cheaper Wii console over the new Wii U, either out of lack of knowledge… or just because they can.
I do not know where that bitterness just came from. Anyway will you be picking up the new mini Wii console?
The Wii Mini is set to drop in Canada on December 7th.
