‘La La La’ has been confirmed as the second single taken from Naughty Boy’s forthcoming debut album, ‘Hotel Cabana’.
Many may recognise Naughty Boy, aka Shahid Khan, from his £44,000 win on Channel 4’s ‘Deal Or No Deal’, which followed on from a successful grant application to Prince’s Trust Fund that encouraged an upscale in the songwriter’s equipment.
However, since signing to Virgin Records, Khan has had the opportunity to work alongside the likes of Leona Lewis, Tinie Tempah, JLS, Chipmunk and Wiley. The latter led to him working heavily alongside 2013 Brit Awards winner Emeli Sandé, as he assisted in the song-writing and production of her hit record ‘Our Version Of Events’.
Fortunately, Naughty Boy now turns his focus onto his own album and called upon Sandé for a feature on his Top 10 single ‘Wonder’. The track caused a huge amount of viral support for Khan, as the video achieved over 3million views. His latest release accompanies Disclosure’s feature artist Sam Smith, with their latest collaboration being played exclusively yesterday by BBC 1Xtra’s MistaJam.
