Scottish synthpop trio, Prides have been rustling up a bit of a hype recently with the news that they’ve been writing with rapidly growing singer/songwriter, Lauren Aquilina.
‘Strong Enough’ comes to us featuring both acts working wonderfully together an upbeat feel-good track. It really holds a reminiscence of Prides’ familiar sound – hard hitting synthpop – but the addition of Lauren’s powerful, impeccable vocals adds a static depth to the product.
Melody-wise, apart from her own ‘Ugly Truth’, this is probably the most upbeat track we’ve heard Aquilina’s distinctive vocals shadow, and it works.
