Jimmy Eat World released their seventh studio album, Damage, last month and now have announced a UK Tour in September and November.
The album was produced by Jimmy Eat World and Alain Johannes (Mark Lanegan, Chris Cornell) and recorded in the fall of 2012 at the producer’s Los Angeles home studio. Damage, is the follow up to 2010’s critically-acclaimed Invented, and the first release on their label partner RCA Records.
The band spent a busy week in London last month including a live double header with Queens Of The Stone Age, as part of Radio 1 Rock Week, which culminated in an exhilarating performance at Download Festival plus a sold out show at Koko last night, where they performed to a rapturous audience.
They continue their live onslaught with news of an extensive UK tour in support of Damage, which kicks off on September 5th in Birmingham Vocalist Jim Adkins adds “We are excited to start playing shows in the UK again. Some of the best crowds anywhere! We have put a lot of work into making our new album Damage and can’t wait to play the new songs for you guys!”
