Inter lining up Richards Bid

Reports are coming in from continental Europe that Internazionale are preparing a £7m bid for Manchester City full-back, Micah Richards.

Inter are hoping to take advantage of what was a nightmare 2012/13 campaign for the England international and land the injury prone 25-year-old in a cut-price deal.

Richards only played seven games for the Premier League runner-ups last term after a knee injury scuppered what would have been an interesting battle with Maicon for the right-back position.

Turin-based newspaper, Tuttosport, are reporting that despite Walter Mazzarri’s admiration of the powerful full-back, Inter would want to place a season-long loan deal on the table first with an option for a permanent deal should Richards hit the ground running in Italy however City appear to want a straight-up sale.

Arsenal are among other clubs who are believed to be interested in Richards’ signature as they prepare for interest from PSG and Monaco for their current right-back, Bacary Sagna.

Inter’s next move could be the catalyst for a lot more moves; stick with us here to see how this one develops!
