As I’m sure a lot of you will know Game of Thrones returned to our TV screens, but before it did the first four episodes got leaked.
Was this a publicity stunt by a sneaky producer or did someone simply hit the wrong button? I guess we’ll never truly know, but one thing is for certain, it was as brilliant as fans of the hit show could dream of.
There have been murmurings of discontent among the GoT book fans based on the start of season 5 because the show has taken a different journey compared to that of the book; a journey that led to a whole plethora of emotions. Jaime Lannister for example is given virtually a totally new character arch. Tyrion is another whose journey sees a huge divergence from the books.
It will be interesting to see how the rest of the series pans out and whether it will be Game of Thrones by name and nothing else or whether HBO bring back more of the book. No-one can say for certain what will happen (apart from the producers) but stay tuned to find out more.
