Birmingham indie rockers Editors have released the details of their new album and reveal a new song with it.
The band will release the follow up to 2009 effort ‘In This Light And On This Evening’ on July 1st. The new album has been named ‘The Weight Of Your Love’.
It has been uncertain what direction the band would be taking their sound after guitarist Chris Urbanowicz left the band last year “in a decision entirely based upon future musical direction” but new song ‘A Ton Of Love’ drops a hint that the band are heading back towards their roots with an ‘In This Light And On This Evening’ influence on the sound.
The band are playing a host of festivals this summer including British festivals T In The Park and Reading and Leeds festivals.
