The Courteeners Announce One Off Liverpool Gig

Manchester indie rockers The Courteeners have announced details of a one off show in Liverpool ahead of their headline slot at this years Reading and Leeds festivals.

Taking place on August 18, the week running up to the joint festival, the band will play Liverpool’s O2 Academy and are expected to debut new material from their forthcoming 4th studio album ‘Concrete Love’.

The band go on to headline the Radio 1/NME stage at Reading and Leeds festivals on Auguat 22-24 before an expected full UK tour in October/November.

Liam Fray and his band recently released a 4 song EP with the lead single ‘How Good it Was’ the only track from the EP to feature on ‘Concrete Love’, which you can hear below.

‘Concrete Love’ is released on August 18, the same day as the Liverpool gig. Tickets for the one off show go on sale on Friday, August 1st.
