The Coronas Announce Supports For Live At The Marquee

Following the release of their new album ‘The Long Way’ late last year, The Coronas are kicking off festival season with two headline shows at Live At The Marquee on June 19th and 20th.

Supports for the nights were announced today and include Ham Sandwich and Roisín O for Friday 19th, and Hudson Taylor and Little Hours for Saturday 20th.

Dublin-based 5-piece from Kells, Ham Sandwich recently released their new album ‘Stories From The Surface’ in April, which debuted straight in at number 1 and have since been excelling at live performances, including an incredibly impressive headliner at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre. With Niamh Farrell’s powerful yet enchanting vocals and the band’s collective live energy, they’re looking set to truly impress on the Marquee stage later this month.

Having just returned from a successful German headline tour, Roisín O’s name has been rising and rising with the release of her brand new single ‘If You Got Love’. The songstress also succeeded a US headline tour last October which saw her play 14 dates there.

Dublin brotherly duo, Hudson Taylor have been racking up support since the release of their debut EP ‘Battles’ back in 2012. Since then, they’ve released a further three EPs and a debut album ‘Singing For Strangers’, which dropped in January of this year (March for the rest of the world). This album has seen them embark on a massive UK and Ireland tour, including a second Irish tour, enabling them to play two headline shows in Dublin’s iconic Olympia Theatre. Having also recorded a track with The Coronas on the new EP ‘How This Goes’, the Saturday Marquee line-up is looking fiercely promising.

Hailing from Donegal, rapidly up and coming duo Little Hours, consisting of Ryan McCloskey and John Doherty, have recently sold out shows across the country following their Meteor Choice Prize nomination. Their self-titled debut EP peaked at number 1 and fans now await the anticipated debut album. Having sold out a headline show in Whelan’s recently and also set to support Kodaline in Kilmainham, the rest of 2015 is looking promising.
