Blaenavon Tease New Miss World EP

The Hampshire-based outfit recently signed for Transgressive Records.

Melancholy-indie threesome Blaenavon have teased the release of a new EP, titled Miss World, via a series of videos on the band’s official Facebook page.  Marked as videos one, two and three, the short clips preview the band’s first release since 2013’s Koso EP. The snippets of sound flit between a collection heavy indie-pop melodies, brittle guitar work, and sombre rgans.

The three-piece, made up of Harris McMillan, Frank Wright and Benjamin Gregory, recently signed to Transgressive Records, and have been holding down supporting slots for the likes of Dry The River and Gengahr throughout the year. Describing themselves as “three boys with a story to tell” on their Bandcamp page, the story of Blaenavon, three young chaps from Liphook in Hampshire, looks set to continue. Full steam ahead with the Miss World EP.
