The 1975 Announce Huge UK Tour Dates

After being the biggest breakthrough band of 2013 and seeing their debut album hit massive acclaim, the rise of The 1975 keeps getting bigger, and they will end 2014 with their biggest ever UK headline date.

After a huge 18 months, the band have gone from touring endlessly in tiny venues to headlining stages at some of this summer’s festivals, with main stage slots at others and they will round off an incredible 18 months by playing 4 UK dates this September including a date at London’s Alexandra Palace.

With a packed summer of festivals including a headline slot on the NME/Radio 1 stage at Reading and Leeds, the short 4-date tour is the perfect way to round off a huge past 18 months in the UK for the band, who will then head over to America to finish the rest of this year on tour.

The 1975 UK tour dates:

September 25 – Barrowlands, Glasgow
September 26 – O2 Apollo, Manchester
September 29 – Civic Hall, Wolverhampton
September 30 – Alexandra Palace, London
