What’s Going On With … Kate McGill

Does anyone remember your Facebook, Twitter and other social feeds being savagely harassed by videos of the ever-enjoyable Kate McGill?

Maybe it was just me then.

Anyway, the singer-songwriter announced late last year that she was quitting music as a solo singer-songwriter or, in her words, “the girl who does covers on Youtube”. But, since that announcement, things haven’t exactly been going slow for her …

With over 20,000 Twitter followers and around 60,000 Facebook fans, you wouldn’t just expect her to disappear would you? That she hasn’t. She continues to keep us all on the edge of our seats, as she continues to document her daily life full of food, strange habits and, most recently, her strong love for eBay.

But, one of those will be making a short disappearance for just under a week and, strangely, it’s not the internet shopping.

Kate McGill and fellow flatmate Emily Littlehales will be giving up FOOD for a whole 125 hours in support of Bristol based charity, One25. One25 Charity is an award-winning charity that supports vulnerable women to break free from street sex-work and build new lives away from violence poverty and addiction.
