Their second EP, ‘Creature Songs’, was released on May 26th, a day before the music video for first track ‘Moaning Lisa’s Smile‘ was premiered. It sees singer Ellie Roswell being shunned by cliques at a community dance hall before making some unique (but fabulously dressed) friends.
Inspired by everyone’s favourite misunderstood yellow teen, Lisa Simpson, it’s a short but sweet video about finding sidekicks in unlikely situations.
Wolf Alice are currently wrapping up a UK-wide tour, drawing bigger crowds with every date. The refreshing mix of Roswell’s plangent tones with grimy guitars makes Moaning Lisa’s Smile the perfect choice to preview the EP’s sound.
