Video Premiere: All In Line – Firewoodisland

Ahead of the release of their second EP, titled Dome, Firewoodisland are proud to reveal their latest music video, for their single ‘All In Line’.

The part-Norwegian part-British group Firewoodisland have such a wonderfully unique sound that even they struggle to label themselves under a specific genre. This has led to them describing themselves as “Mountain Pop”, which definitely describes them down to a tee!

April 22nd will see the release of their upcoming EP, Dome. To whet our appetite before then, Firewoodisland is releasing the music video for their track ‘All In Line’ early, and it’s premiering right here on Fortitude Magazine! Check it out below!

When talking about ‘All In Line’, Firewoodisland said:

‘All In Line’ lives in the same universe as ‘Dancing In A Teacup’ from our first EP ILD. Inspiration is taken from the story of The Borrowers. In this song, our lives (the humans) are seen from The Borrowers’ perspective as withering away – most people are living in a constant cycle of continuity and structure. Sometimes everyday life just catches up with us. One day you’ll realise how little you’ve done with that one life you were given. These mythical, made-up people like to spend every second of their lives doing something that’s life-fulfilling and free from constraint. In this case running together in the night, while everyone else is sleeping.”

Check out the brand new video below, and look out for Firewoodisland’s new EP, Dome, which will be released this coming Friday, 22nd April.
