Track of the Week: Nathan Ball – Cold Hands

Just under two weeks ago, London artist Nathan Ball returned with the smashing sound of ‘Cold Hands‘… and we were instantly digging it!

Following on from the steady, melodic sound of ‘Right Place’, the newest offering from Nathan is more hard-hitting but still boasts that addictive foot-tapping beat and etching guitar riffs making their way through the track from beginning to end.

“I wrote Cold Hands at the end of last year, tucked away down in Cornwall. I get influenced by the seasons a lot and winter had properly settled in so there was certainly an element of intensity and darkness creeping into the writing. It’s about lost love and new opportunities…”

Last year saw Nathan open for the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club and Laura Marling, and considering he’s just been today announced for Barn on the Farm… 2017 is looking just as exciting!
