Singer-songwriter Adam Cleaver introduces us to a completely new side to himself with the release of his debut single ‘Half Awake’ under the pseudonym DYVR.
‘Half Awake’ is a stunning piece of work from start to finish. Filled with euphoric sounds and minimal electronic beats sounding akin to the likes of James Blake with a bit of SOHN thrown in for good measure. Adam’s signature soaring falsetto vocal is still in full force but matching perfectly with the track’s ethereal and tender nature. As the track builds, layers are continuously added to the lo-fi sounds, creating a completely atmospheric and enchanting feel to the debut.
This is an exciting change of pace for the young singer-songwriter and we’re exceptionally eager see to see where this will lead him next.
