Released in cinemas on July 31st 2013, Twentieth Century Fox are pleased to unveil details of their Summer comedy ‘The Heat’.
An uptight FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Sandra Bullock) and foul-mouthed Boston cop Shannon Mullins (Melissa McCarthy) couldn’t be more incompatible. But, when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected; best friends.
‘The Heat’ is Paul Feig’s directional follow-up to his Box Office hit ‘Bridesmaids’, which also starred McCarthy, as Kate Dippold (Parks and Recreation) has been announced as the film writer. The film has been produced by Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark, Jenno Topping.
