Having recently played a sold-out show at London’s Borderline, and supported Deap Vally and Willy Moon on dates across the UK and Europe, The Family Rain have announced their biggest tour to date this October.
The run includes a date at Heaven in London, alongside a number of festival shows over the summer.
The tour will follow a busy festival season for the Bath three piece which includes a number of dates in Europe including the Montreux Jazz festival in Switzerland, Pukkelpop in Belgium and the Hurricane and Southside Festival in Germany. The band are currently nearing the end of their first headline tour, which will conclude with a hometown show in Bath this Thursday as part of the Jack Daniel’s JD Roots events.
The Family Rain will release their debut EP ‘Pushing Out’ later this month. Pushing It will be released on the Vertigo label through Virgin EMI, on June 17 2013. It features live favourite Friction as well as a remix by up and coming US rapper Chester Watson.

Produced by Jim Abbiss & mixed by Cenzo Townsend, the EP will be available on both CD and download formats. It follows the release of ‘Trust Me… I’m A Genius’, and ‘Carnival’, home demos which were released on the Bigger Splash label, earlier this year.
