If you’re a fan of a bit of good old fashioned blues rock then look no further, we’ve got just the ticket. Oxford-based Ulysses Wells‘ has stormed into 2019 with his latest single ‘Back With The People’ and it’s an undisputed triumph.
The single is feisty, fierce and bursting with attitude from the offset. Wells’ raw, gritty vocals are instantly reminiscent of the likes of Dan Auerbach or Jack White, whilst its quirky guitar melodies have an edge of Tame Impala about them. Nonetheless, Wells somehow manages combine vintage soundscapes with modern day psychedelia and electronica to create something wonderfully unique and we can’t get enough.
