The Irish five piece have gradually been on the rise in Dublin and now, with the release of their single Deliver Me, they are sure to be lionised for their stunning compositions and non-cliché lyrics.
The band have been playing across Ireland, with their soulful music creating waves on the Irish music scene. Deliver Me is an achingly beautiful ballad, opening on a fleeting piano intro, it maintains a delicate but powerful nuance throughout the song. Harmonised with the echoing chords of the guitar and the soft and passionate vocals of lead singer, Craig Cahill, this song is thoughtfully composed.
The song has a chasmal quality however the words ‘Take me home, bring it home’ allay the emptiness. The anticipation is built throughout the song with legato passages, only to be relieved by the intimate and soul-stirring vocals.
To truly experience the intensity and passion of Deliver Me it is best heard live – it’s one of those rare spine-tingling moments!
