Single Review: Pip Blom – ‘I Think I’m In Love’

After the success of last year’s Are We There Yet? EP, Amsterdam’s Pip Blom has just released a brand new track.

Flowing with catchy, jangly melodies, ‘I Think I’m In Love’ tells the common story of the complications that come with relationships. As the twang of guitars fuzzes alongside Blom’s raw, sweet vocals, the track oozes a truly infectious, uptempo energy, making for an impassioned indie-rock offering that’ll stick in your ears for days.

Whilst it’s hard not to make the Courtney Barnett comparisons, there is a refreshing, youthful energy to Pip Blom’s creations that mark her out as a promising artist in her own right. And now, currently touring the UK with Surfer Blood and with a session booked in with BBC 6 Music’s Marc Riley, there’s no doubt Pip Blom is a One To Watch in 2017.

‘I Think I’m In Love’ is out now via Toaster Records.
