Single Review: Mutant Vinyl- Lavender

Mutant Vinyl released his new single, ‘Lavender’ November 22nd 2013…

With a style consisting of trip-hop, heavy dub and black saxophone sounds and ‘Lavender‘ has them all!

It’s a song that makes you want to jump out of your computer chair and start dancing! The catchy chorus and the groove of the verses work so well together and with his famous Sax riffs, the sharp baseline along with his unique vocals makes this song a sure hit.

Mutant Vinyl have already toured with Electric Six & Scouting For Girls at the O2 Academy – Impressive! They also have up coming shows around the UK, so watch out for the name!

Mutant Vinyl’s track, ‘Acid Honey‘ also reached #1 in the Strummerville chart and #2 on the Amazon ‘Movers & Shakers’ listing and I have no doubt ‘Lavender‘ will be just as successful.

Simon Gogerly, Grammy Award winning producer (U2, Gwen Stefani, Underworld) said of Edwin’s live tributes:

“Packed with charisma and energy, Ed is a consummative showman. Whether attacking his bass like Flea or pushing soaring melodies out of his sax, he holds the audience in rapt attention.”

Damage was done to the repeat button on this one- that’s for sure!
