Single Review: Moderat – Bad Kingdom

‘Moderat’ is a mighty amalgamation, braising break-beats whilst leveling lucid lyrics to undoubtedly deliver on those dance floors.

Crawling out of the wood works, ‘Apparat & Modeselektor’ conquer a compelling collaboration, whilst bruising base with their experimental album ‘Moderat II,’ furthest flung from the depths of Berlin’s basements.

Their Euro-Soul fringes an instrumental bed of rhythmic pulse, sentimentally styling a ‘Moderat’ masterpiece, highly supported by the likes of ‘Monkeytown Records.’

‘Bad Kingdom’ devises a tale of corruption, triggered by an underworld of greed which often man can succumb to; living, loving, loathing and ultimately losing. Brilliantly illustrated and produced by Pfadfinderei can see his catchy graphics as a worldly warning. However this compilation of craftsmanship defiantly rattles through the underground, rehashing a renaissance revival of epic German techno-electro.
