Is there anything that can stop the momentous force that is High Tyde? The past year has been truly remarkable for the Indie band; touring across the country, releasing 3 outstanding hits and are currently featured on Radio 1’s playlist. Oh and not to mention their brand new EP, ‘FUZZ’, to be released March 9th.
‘Talk To Frank’ is the incredible new single, which has taken a more intense but sophisticated approach. The lyrics are raunchy, the voice is gritty, it’s just destined to solidify itself on the Made in Chelsea soundtrack; running parallel with a post-crescendo of gossip towards the closing stages of an episode. The production is powerfuland would thrive on a live stage, along with the arrogant and haughty vocals of Cody Mathews.
High Tyde have made significant strides throughout the past year and are most definitely ones to watch in 2015. Let’s hope they can maintain their impetus and build on the platform they have created. In the words of Kanye West, “You blowin’ up, that’s good, fantastic.”
