In an industry that feels almost inundated with electronic music at the moment, Edinburgh-based artist EMILIE comes as a breathe of fresh air and is certainly one to watch in 2017.
EMILIE’s most recent single ‘Never Enough’ is a brooding piece of electronica, impeccably mastered and lyrically stunning. The single tackles the greed that is all around us, allowing us to lose the value of what’s truly important as a result. EMILIE’s lead vocal is flawless; smooth as silk and reminding us of equally talented ladies such as Låpsley and BANKS respectively.
EMILIE aka Emily Atkinson has been making waves within the Scottish circuit for a while now, having supported the likes of SG Lewis and Be Charlotte to name but a few. With two critically acclaimed singles and a debut EP already under her belt, we can’t wait to see what she gets up to next.
