Fashion Launchbox: rosiemaybe – Handmade and Modified Clothing

Lover of prints? Simplistic twists? Uniqueness? rosiemaybe is the brand for you!

Rosie May Freeman, 21, is currently a Fashion student at Derby University, having also studied a Foundation Degree in Art and Design at Burton College. Her creative talent and personality has also secured her a job as a visual merchandiser at Topshop.

Inspired by the world around her, Rosie creates unique t-shirt designs for both guys and girls by simply characterising them with floral or printed sleeves or pockets! They are very individual and quirky, and retain the uniqueness and rarity due to Rosie only buying a set amount of fabric, so once it’s gone – it’s gone!

T-shirts are just the beginning for rosiemaybe. Approached by a friend, Rosie was asked if she could create bespoke bow ties and ties. Not only that, Rosie is also currently experimenting with dresses. T-shirts are selling at £15, and bow ties at £10 – the price points are attractive and the product is wonderfully handmade.

Rosie mainly takes orders through her social network platforms – Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/rosiemaybe1) and Instagram (rosiemaybe9) but is working on her website: www.rosiemaybe.com which she is hoping to launch soon. She welcomes any orders and regularly uploads fabric she’s working with, and all you need to do is pick your print, your shirt colour and size, and then wait for your very own tee!

The future for this brand is bright. With Rosie still studying at university and soon to have launched her own online business, this driven fashion student is powering through for exposure in the fashion world with her beautiful, bespoke product; and with an ever growing fan base, she’s sure to be a success!
