Another one-day festival to take over Liverpool this summer is Liverpool Calling, which will be headlined by The Rifles, with other headliners to be announced.
Mainly a festival to showcase Liverpool’s ever growing talented underground, mixed with a few bigger names in indie rock music to bulk the festival up, Liverpool Calling will be home to The Rifles only festival headline slot this summer.
The festival will take place in 5 venues around Liverpool city centre on July 26th with other big names already announced including Manchester indie rockers Twisted Wheel, Dexters, D/R/U/G/S and The Rag N’ Bone Man.
With Liverpool’s ever growing underground as big as ever, some of the local bands announced so far include The Mono LP’s, Filter Distortion and The Jackobins.
The next line-up announcement is expected next month, tickets for the festival are currently on sale.
