The Worst Of It is the latest single from We Are Fiction and the first from their upcoming début album One For Sorrow. We Are Fictions previous singles Sail on, My Dreams Are Haunted and Earth Medicine gained national media attention and air time from the likes of Radio 1, Kerrang and Scuzz.
The Worst Of It carries a more pop rock sound than previous tracks that could be considered a bit heavier. This however is not a bad thing. The slight change in musical direction is fantastic, a more upbeat, toe tapping sound. With lyrics about making the most of life and “smiling through the worst of it” this song is sure to have as big of an impact as the previous three.
